Oh, what a weekend!

I thought I had a weekend planned of fun events for myself and the family. However, it didn't turn out the way I was expecting it to because I got sick. I was feeling great.....well, until Thursday came along. I am sure I caught whatever my lil man had because he was under the weather as well. I was so hype for Saturday to get here so I could participate in the Spa party that our local moms' group coordinated. I was scheduled for a much needed 60 minute Swedish massage and great conversation with the other moms. My husband and I wanted to explore the City with our son and see what fun things we could get into. 

Thursday rolled around and I felt horrible to the point I had to make an appointment to see my primary physician. I called my husband and asked him to come home early because I had an appointment at 4:45 pm  later that day. He was a good sport about it and came home to take care of our son while I went to the appointment. I was prescribed antibiotics for my symptoms and I decided to cancel my massage because I didn't want anyone else to get sick.

Even though I was under the weather, the weekend was not bad at all. The hubby took great care of me and our son. He made sure to pamper me since I was unable to attend the spa party. He ordered take out and we watched movies and reality shows the whole weekend. However, we made it our priority to get up to go to church on Sunday to give praise and thank God for everything He has done for us! Spending time with my family was awesome and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I hope you all had a great weekend as well.
